Rock Star nailz without the Rock Star Price!

My friend told me she was going to get "Rock Star Nailz" so I looked it up online... it's basically the gel nails with a ton of glitter!! I absolutely loved it, but I can't find myself to spend $35-$40 on nails. I love the glitter look and will try anything to achieve it, but even the Sally Hansen Minx nails and regular glitter polish don't do the trick! I headed to the craft store to see what I could come up with to achieve the look for less....

All I needed was super fine glitter. I chose a teal glitter. I already had the teal polish and glitter top coat polish, so that was all I needed.

Step 1: Paint 1 coat of regular teal polish ( you can choose any color or clear)
Step 2: Pack on the super fine glitter. I just poured it on over a plate, then stepped outside to blow away the excess and made sure all the nails were completely covered
Step 3: Finish with 2 coats of glitter top coat or clear top coat

This is what I got and I think it looks awesome! Nail polish $2, glitter, $3, glitter polish $4... and you can use it over again and again. Pish posh to $35 nails!
